International Young Musicians Music Competition - Singapore Preliminary Round has been confirmed on the 27th-29th May!
Results for Preliminary will be announced on the day of the competition with scoring system as below.
PRIZES First Prize: Scored 91 - 100 marks
Second Prize: Scored 86 - 90 marks
Third Prize: Scored 81 - 85 marks
Merit: Scored 76 - 80 marks
Top 10 Highest Score Winners of different regions in the IYMMC Final will be titled as "THE STAR OF VIENNA" and receive a "THE STAR OF VIENNA" trophy and certificate.First, Second, and Third Prize winners in the preliminary (regional) round will receive trophy and certificate, and will be qualified to participate in the IYMMC Final.Final:

If the registration quota is full before the deadline, the organizer reserves the right to end registration early without prior notice.To ensure the quality, fairness and smooth conduct of the competition, all fees once paid will not be refunded or transferred.Participants must provide true, complete and accurate personal information when registering. Contestants must carefully check the registration information, application requirements and performance content to see if they meet the group requirements. If there is any discrepancy, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify the applicant from participating or winning the prize.If contestants need to change their entry status and information after filling in the information, they must pay an administrative fee of at least SGD$25.2. Competition Arrangements and RequirementsAll competition regulations, rules and information shall be subject to the latest announcement from the competition official or the association website. Participants should regularly check emails, text messages, schedules or announcements of related events, and abide by the competition date, time, sequence and location arranged by the organizer without prior notice.If the competition regulations, awards and judging team are subject to change, the latest information from the official website will prevail without individual notification.The final entry time and appearance number will be subject to real-time announcement before the game. The entry number of the competition will generally be based on the announced schedule. However, if a participant is absent or late or due to other force majeure factors, the organizer may immediately adjust the entry number, and the contestant shall not have any objection.If you have not received an individual letter informing you of the competition details before the competition, please contact us via email, Facebook or the official website.There are limited seats in the competition venue, and seats will be reserved for contestants first. The conference will do its best to arrange waiting areas. If there are insufficient seats at individual venues, escorts may not be able to enter.Except for piano, other musical instruments are not provided by the organizer, the contestants need to bring them by themselves. This may include, but is not limited to, Chinese instruments, large percussion instruments, marimbas, jazz drums, etc.If multiple or special equipment is required, participants must prepare it themselves. If you have any questions, please inquire before registering. Applications to change the competition status that are not in line with personal ideas will not be accepted because the contestants have not made prior inquiries.3. Competition requirementsThe organizer reserves the right to modify the competition rules, prize content and jury members as necessary. Participants will not be notified of any modifications.In the event of any dispute during the competition, the competition committee will have the highest and final decision.All entrants must comply with contest requirements or may be disqualified.Entrants must present valid identification documents on race day to verify their identity and eligibility.Contestants must report on time and follow the instructions of venue staff to perform. Those who fail to register or enter the venue as scheduled may lose their awards, or be disqualified.All contestants must wear modest clothing to compete.The copyright of all competition photos, videos and audio recordings belongs to the competition conference.All musical instruments brought by the contestants need to be properly arranged and transported to the competition venue by themselves, and the installation and debugging must be completed before the registration time so as to smoothly connect to the performances during the competition. In order to maintain the fairness of the competition, applications for withdrawal or refund due to failure to bring/transport musical instruments to the competition or similar reasons after registration will not be accepted and will be treated as absences.Anyone present or failing to cooperate with staff arrangements may be asked to leave the competition venue and disqualified.4. Things to note during the competitionIn order to ensure fair competition, the competition piano or stage will not be provided/rented for pre-game practice or competition use.The playing time of all instruments in the competition will be calculated from the time the contestants set up and test the relevant instruments after the name is announced.During the competition, the playing time of all instruments will be strictly calculated according to the rules. Competitors must set up and tune their instruments before competing, and practice if necessary to ensure they can start playing in the shortest possible time.If duration is exceeded, contestants may be asked to stop playing. Please stop playing immediately when this happens. No points will be deducted for contestants who do not complete the performance.According to music copyright restrictions, contestants must obtain prior approval from the music owner before using accompanying music in live performances. Although the contestant has submitted music in advance for live performance, the judges are not responsible for the contestant's personal use of the music and its purpose. The jury and the stage production company are not responsible for any copyright issues involved in the contestants' music submissions. Once a contestant successfully applies to participate, they agree to these terms and conditions.On-site escorts are welcome to take photos and videos. However, in order to respect each contestant, contestants or their relatives and friends are not allowed to photograph or videotape other performers' performances without the consent of the conference or others, so as not to affect the performance and performance of other performers.5. Ratings and AwardsThe scoring criteria mainly consider the completeness, musicality, technical level and expressiveness of the music during the performance; the scoring criteria are based on the scores and comments given by the judges at the scene as the final result, and cannot interfere with it, nor does the conference. It reserves the right to interpret comments and scores on behalf of the judges themselves, and the final results will be based on the real-time circumstances of the contestants and judges themselves.Competition scores will be calculated strictly in accordance with regulations, and the final results will be scored and calculated by the judging panel. Contestants should respect the decision of the jury and not have any objection to the score.The score of each contestant shall be determined by referring to the independent score on the score sheet.The results of the competition will be announced at the competition site, and the official announcement of the winning status of each contestant in the entire competition will be made approximately two weeks later. No inquiries regarding the results of any competition will be accepted during this period.In order to respect the privacy of the contestants, only the ranking of each contestant will be announced in the online competition results. Inquiries about the scores of other contestants or other contestants will not be processed.For all winners who have not received their prizes on site, the conference will pay the registration address registered by the participants through SF Express three months after the end of the competition. Changing the address requires an additional administrative fee of SGD25 and up, and you must wait.
